Annual Honey, Wax & Mead Competition

Honey, apparently so simple, yet in detail so complex and remarkable, has for thousands of years been the main reason that people keep bees.  As BCHPA members who strive to “bee better” it is appropriate to look to the standards of perfection and the BC diversity in the honey we produce in partnership with our colonies. Producing honey in the jar is essentially a challenge to match the quality of honeys as our bees have made them.  Please share the special honey of your corner of BC, by entering the BCHPA honey competition, so we may celebrate the best.”   Kerry Clark – President of the BCHPA

Now is the time to ready your honey and products for the annual competition.  CLICK HERE  for details.  Bring your entries to our Welcome Centre that opens Thursday evening, October 26 between 4-8 pm or on Friday, October 27th.

If you are sitting on the fence about coming, now is the time to act!  Register today.
