Honey Samples Wanted for NMR Testing
Peter Awram and Leonard Foster are trying to develop a made-in-Canada solution for quality control of honey. This would make use of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), plus possibly the mass spectrometry technology that Leonard Foster’s lab uses at UBC. As part of this effort, they would like to assemble honey samples from across the province to see what the differences are between real honeys and how those compare to adulterated honeys.
